Recently, an appraisal meeting successfully held by Jiangsu Economic and Information Technology Commission and Nantong Bureau of Science & Technology in Jiangsu LiXing General Steel Ball Co., Ltd., being a new product of Jiangsu and scientific and technological achievements of Nantong, “Special steel ball for the third generation HUB bearing for automotive” was apprasied in the meeting. Fifteen experts and representatives from China Bearing Industry Association (CBIA ), Luoyang Bearing Research Institute, Nantional Bearing Quality control and Inspection Center, the relevant Colleges and the VIP Costomers were invited to attend this appraisal meeting. The experts and representatives listened to the working summary and technology report of Chief Engineer from JGBR, reviewed the relevant technological data, and they also inspected the production site. After discussion and questioning, they thought that the “Special steel ball for the third generation HUB bearing for automotive” independently research and development by JGBR, with comprehensive use of some methods, such as, retained austenite control technology, technology for improving the fatigue life and technology of control of abnormal noise of steel balls, this project innovatively sloved the key technology in productions of the “Special steel ball for the third generation HUB bearing for automotive”. This achievement would fill the gap in China, whose main technology datas were in the advanced level among similar products in the world, the experts and representatives attended agreed this achievement to pass the appraisal of New products of Jiangsu & scientific and technological achievements of Nantong.
